The Sheikh Ul Alam School
The Sponsor Mrs. P. Sultana Zaru along with some educationists from public life and also well wishers considered it expedient to establish a Model School in Narwara locality in 1983, to meet the needs of fast developing lower parts of Srinagar and to foster amongst children of these localities the growing activities and provide the children with the modern education. The name of the school was adopted after the famous Saint Reshi “Sheikh-ul-Alam-Sheikh-Noor-din-Norani RAH” who was known for his spiritual Insight, vast knowledge depicted in his poetry, commonly known as “shruik” , moral teachings social and cultural reforms and broad vision. Right from its inception the school under the flag of Alamdaar (RAH) is untiredly and ceaselessly trying to carry his mission and spread the light of education to all and everyone without any distinction of colour, creed and caste. The students from all walks of life are given admission without any distinction of social strata or financial background . The management and the staff of the school is working overtime to make the students “whole human-beings” with up right character and moral dignity The School is being run by a trust which stands
