Stewart School
Stewart School, Cuttack was founded in 1910 which was initially accredited as a Higher Elementary School by the Inspector of European Schools in Bihar and Orissa. The school was later named Stewart School in honor of its founder Dr. Stewart. It was in 1924 that it was promoted to a Junior Secondary School, and the Cambridge Syndicate permitted the opening of a centre for Cambridge Examinations in the school. In 1974 Stewart School joined the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Being an Anglo-Indian School, Stewart School, Cuttack has always remained in the forefront in academic performance. Its principal has the added advantage of being the only non-official member of the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education in the state. This affiliation gives an implication to the school to provide quality education and education standards in the school. To this present day, Stewart School maintains the founder’s belief in academics with focus on the total person. Over the years, the school has been offering quality education, thus making it reputable school in the region and fostering young talents to achieve their potentials.
