Sant Atulanand Convent School was established by Dr Raj Singh, a great educationist and ex Reader and Head of the Department of Chemistry Udai Pratap Autonomous College Varanasi. Led by his spiritual master, Swami Atulanand Ji Maharaj Dr.Singh formed the Swami Atulanand Rachana Parishad Society in 1979. The school was initially started in an old muth building with 49 or less number of students to start with and it is an English Medium, co-educational school. By sheer hard work and unyielding support on the aspect of serving humanity through the provision of education, Sant Atulanand Convent School brought onboard the following accomplishments. It became the first school in Eastern UP run in the private sector when it was granted affiliation by the C. B. S. E. in 1986 and it has blossomed into a senior secondary school by 1992. The post implies that the school functions based on the premise that “Thoughts make words, words make actions, actions make habits, habits make character, and character makes our destiny. ” This notion informs the school’s mission to disseminate educational knowledge and foster and enlighten the soul of each student.
