Looking at the recent effects of archeological investigations that proclaim the Indus Valley Civilization as the only major urban civilization of the ancient world, it becomes clear that India has a glorious historical heritage. Predominantly a product of Hinduism’s Sanatan Dharma, Indian culture is spiritually grounded and has deep and diverse rituals. India remains culturally distinct even as it suffered invasions and the injection of globalisation into its society. Yet, one has to remember that the outside influences affect Indians too, and the issues of Westernization remain a problem for the Indian morality. Thus, reinforcing the need to protect and preserve the Indian culture as well as its ethos of practice, Rani Laxmibai Public School has been essayed. The educational activities in the school bear the aim to develop student’s respect and love to the cultural heritage of India and to develop sense of social responsibility to pass this tradition further in the future.
