It was founded in 1927 by Sheth Anandilal Podar, the Podar Education Group has been successfully run with the principle of integrity, hard working and commitment which reflects Indian culture. The adherence of the group to these objectives is well supported by the fact that the first president of the Anandilal Podar Trust was Mahatma Gandhi, which goes a long way in establishing the ethical nature of the group. Podar group of Education is almost a century old; the group has grown to a huge network of Educational Institutions. It now has 136 Podar International Schools, which are all incorporated under the Podar Education Network and is further partnered with 83 Podar Partner schools. Altogether, these institutions provide education to more than one seventy-five thousand students whereas 7,600 members of the staff are busy serving these students. The Podar education group is well known for this culture of education that focuses on holistically developing the child and the individual both academically, physically, emotionally and socially. Regarding education it is represented in its preschools and primary schools as well as in its international and partner schools in India.
