It was initially in Nursery to I standard then expanded and affiliated to Council of I.C.S.E. Examination in March 2002. The school is a daughters institution managed by the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (Nirmala Sisters), operating under the Siliguri Nirmala Vikas Samiti registered under Society Registration Act, XXI of 1961. Nirmala Convent School was granted permanent affiliation by the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations, on 26 th May, 2003 and with the permission of the same, classes XI and XII were introduced the same year. The first batch of students of the school took the ICS Examination in March 2006 as per the Course Structure of NECA. This school, namely Nirmala Convent School gives high attention to enhance its students to ensure they provide quality education aimed at the development of the students.
