Mrs. Sookja wanted to introduce a school in India with Christian values after receiving a divine revelation in 1994. Thus she came to start Mahima International Christian School in Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai in the year 1996 and the word ‘Mahima’ in the name of the school was purposely picked to mean ‘The Glory’. Originally, there was only one teacher, and four students, in a small residential home and the development of the school was very fast. Further, the stock exchange system was enlarged by an additional primary section by the year 2000. help, Mahima International Christian School was officially registered to operate up to Standard X by the year 2010. Mrs Annamma Mathew who was appointed as the second principal of the school managed the school up to her retirement early this year April 2021. Commencing its silver jubilee on July 15, 2021, the school has since mentored 11 batches of Standard 10 completes and will stick to its quality Christian education provision.
